# Settings

Account identity display, sidebar appearance preferences, and Brand Profile management in Meltiply.

Meltiply does not host a dedicated `/settings` page or sidebar Settings navigation item. Account identity, sidebar preferences, and Brand Profile administration are handled directly through surviving controls in the sidebar, [Channels](/docs/channels), and [Publishing](/docs/publishing).

## Account and workspace

### Profile display

The sidebar footer displays your account initials avatar, display name, and registered email address, alongside a **Sign out** button. Account profile details are read-only; self-service editing of profile identity is not available in the web interface.

### Workspace identity

The workspace name at the top of the sidebar displays the name of the active organization and your current plan tier (such as Free Plan, Creator Plan, or Agency Plan) as a static label; there is no in-app workspace switcher.

## Appearance and motion

Interface display controls live directly in the sidebar footer:

- **Theme** — toggle between Light mode and Dark mode. Preferences apply immediately and are stored locally in your browser.
- **Low motion** — toggle reduced motion transitions on or off. The control indicates when your device or operating system requests reduced motion.

The sidebar does not include a language selector. Meltiply renders in English by default.

## Brand Profiles

Brand Profiles are named, color-labeled scopes inside your workspace that own channels, media assets, and posts — useful for separating distinct brands or clients.

Management controls live in the [Channels](/docs/channels) board and the [Publishing](/docs/publishing) toolbar:

- **Create Brand Profile** — Workspace admins can select **Create Brand Profile** in the header of the Channels board. Saving a new profile opens the account connection flow.
- **Edit Brand Profile** — Admins can click the pencil icon (**Edit profile**) on any profile row in the Brand Profile selector dropdown on either Channels or Publishing.
- **Profile dialog** — The dialog provides inputs for **Profile name**, **Profile description** (up to 280 characters), and **Choose a profile color** (a beehive palette of 51 accessible contract colors).
- **Updating or deleting** — When modifying an existing profile, admins can apply changes with **Update profile** or delete the profile via **Delete profile**, which asks for confirmation in a **Delete Brand Profile** dialog. Creating a profile uses **Create profile**.
- **Switching profiles** — Anyone can switch the active Brand Profile scope using the Brand Profile selector dropdown in Channels or Publishing, or choose "All Brand Profiles" for aggregate review.

## Connected accounts

Connected social channels are managed exclusively on the [Channels](/docs/channels) board, where accounts can be connected, re-authenticated, or disconnected.

## Unavailable settings surfaces

The former `/settings` route and its preview tabs — Team Members, Signatures, Notifications, and API & Keys — are not available in the application.
