Billing & plans
Workspace plan tiers, usage limits, and backend billing status in Meltiply.
Meltiply plans set limits on media uploads, scheduled distributions, concurrent platform connections, and media storage.
The web application does not host a dedicated /billing page, in-app usage meters, self-serve checkout buttons, or billing portal links. Navigating to /billing redirects to the posts workspace. Your current plan tier appears under the workspace name at the top of the sidebar.
Plans at a glance
Meltiply supports three plan tiers:
- Free — included with every workspace, no payment required.
- Creator — entry paid tier for individual creators with higher distribution and upload allowances.
- Agency — tier for higher publishing volume and multi-channel workflows.
The backend tracks subscription statuses: Free, Trialing, Active, Past due, and Cancelled. Paid-plan allowances apply while the subscription status is Active or Trialing. If a subscription lapses or is cancelled, the workspace operates under Free-plan limits.
Usage limits
Each plan defines limits for:
- Uploads — media assets added to your workspace per usage period.
- Distributions — posts published or scheduled to connected platforms per usage period.
- Platforms — social accounts you can connect concurrently.
- Storage — total space your uploaded media can occupy.
- Analytics — whether post performance sync is enabled on the backend.
- Inbox replies — whether replying to comments from the Inbox is enabled on the backend.
Reaching limits
The backend enforces plan limits when you upload media, schedule distributions, or connect platform accounts. An operation that would exceed its limit is rejected; changing the browser’s local state cannot bypass that check.
The current app does not provide approaching-quota banners or a live usage dashboard. Do not rely on the sidebar plan label to show remaining capacity.
Backend billing and subscriptions
Backend billing endpoints (/api/v1/billing/plan and /api/v1/billing/usage) track reconciled usage and plan limits, and Polar billing integration powers checkout and customer portal session creation in the API worker.
Self-serve subscription checkout and billing portal management are not available directly within the frontend interface.
